1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state legislative intent
2 to appropriate money to the Department of Health and Human Services
3 for evidence-based early intervention home visitation programs; and
4 to declare an emergency.
5 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate (1)
2 $900,000 from the General Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $900,000 from the
3 General Fund for FY2024-25 to the Department of Health and Human
4 Services, for Program 514, for evidence-based early intervention home
5 visitation programs.
6 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
7 passed and approved according to law.
