1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent regarding
2 appropriations for medicaid assisted-living facilities to the
3 Department of Health and Human Services.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate to
2 the Department of Health and Human Services, Agency No. 25, for medicaid
3 assisted-living facility rates for Program No. 348, $7,046,697 for
4 FY2024-25 ($2,917,333 General Funds and $4,129,364 Federal Funds), to be
5 used specifically by the department to increase the current medicaid
6 assisted-living facility rates, that are included in Program No. 348 and
7 paid as a service as part of Nebraska's aged and disabled home and
8 community-based medicaid 1915(c) waiver program, to the daily rate of
9 $78.45 for all types of assisted-living waiver days.
