1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent to
2 appropriate funds to the State Department of Education; and to
3 declare an emergency.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate
2 $299,260 for FY2024-25 from the General Fund and $309,482 for FY2025-26
3 from the General Fund to the State Department of Education, for Program
4 25, for purposes of expanding the office of finance and administrative
5 services of the State Department of Education.
6 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
7 passed and approved according to law.
