1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to aid
2 in carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 328, One Hundred
3 Eighth Legislature, First Session, 2023.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $96,049 from the
2 General Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $99,504 from the General Fund for
3 FY2024-25 to the Attorney General, for Program 507, to aid in carrying
4 out the provisions of Legislative Bill 328, One Hundred Eighth
5 Legislature, First Session, 2023.
6 Total expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per
7 diems from funds appropriated in this section shall not exceed $60,000
8 for FY2023-24 or $63,000 for FY2024-25.
9 Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated (1) $10,000 from the General
10 Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $10,000 from the General Fund for FY2024-25 to
11 the Commission on Indian Affairs, for Program 584, to aid in carrying out
12 the provisions of Legislative Bill 328, One Hundred Eighth Legislature,
13 First Session, 2023.
14 No expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per diems
15 for state employees shall be made from funds appropriated in this
16 section.
