1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent regarding
2 developmental disability aid; and to declare an emergency.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate
2 $XXX,XXX,XXX from the XXX Fund for fiscal year 2023-24, to Agency No. 25,
3 Department of Health and Human Services, Program No. 424, Developmental
4 Disability Aid, to implement an eight and seven-tenths percent increase
5 to reimbursement rates paid to providers of developmental disability
6 services, which shall only be used for this purpose, and to appropriate
7 $XXX,XXX,XXX from the XXX Fund for fiscal year 2024-25, to Agency No. 25,
8 Department of Health and Human Services, Program No. 424, Developmental
9 Disability Aid, to implement an eight and seven-tenths percent increase
10 to reimbursement rates paid to providers of developmental disability
11 services, which shall only be used for this purpose.
12 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
13 passed and approved according to law.
