1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to agricultural leases; to require notice of
2 termination of an oral lease of land used for agricultural purposes
3 to be given as prescribed.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. In order to terminate an oral lease of land used for
2 agricultural purposes, notice of intent to terminate shall be given on or
3 before January 1 of a year, and such termination shall take effect no
4 sooner than March 1 of such year. If such notice is given after January 1
5 of a year, the termination shall not be effective until March 1 of the
6 following year.
