1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds from
2 the General Fund to the Supreme Court for the Office of Dispute
3 Resolution; to state legislative intent; and to declare an
4 emergency.
5 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $1,000,000 from the
2 General Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $1,000,000 from the General Fund for
3 FY2024-25 to the Supreme Court, Agency 5, Program 52, Operations. It is
4 the intent of the Legislature that money appropriated in this section be
5 used by the Office of Dispute Resolution to support and increase funding
6 to Supreme Court approved mediation centers.
7 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
8 passed and approved according to law.
