1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to the Nebraska State Historical Society; to
2 provide duties relating to the Mayhew Cabin and Fort Robinson
3 historical sites; and to state intent regarding funding.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. (1) The Nebraska State Historical Society shall
2 purchase, update, and manage the Mayhew Cabin historical site located in
3 Nebraska City, Nebraska and upgrade and maintain the Fort Robinson
4 historical site located in Crawford, Nebraska.
5 (2) It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate thirty-five
6 million dollars from the XXX Fund to complete the goals of this section.
7 Funds may also be used for the Standing Bear Museum, which shall require
8 a matching contribution.
