1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent regarding a
2 rate increase for behavioral health services; and to declare an
3 emergency.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to provide a rate
2 increase for behavioral health services of five percent for FY2023-24 to
3 Agency No. 25, Department of Health and Human Services, Program No. 38,
4 Behavioral Health Aid, Program No. 344, Children's Health Insurance,
5 Program No. 348, Medical Assistance, and Program No. 349, Medicaid
6 Expansion Aid.
7 Sec. 2. It is the intent of the Legislature to provide a rate
8 increase for behavioral health services of five percent for FY2023-24 to
9 Agency No. 5, Supreme Court, Program No. 437, Juvenile Justice.
10 Sec. 3. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
11 passed and approved according to law.
