1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to health and human services; to provide for a
2 pilot program for assessing and treating post traumatic stress
3 disorder as prescribed; to state legislative intent to appropriate
4 money; and to declare an emergency.
5 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. The Department of Health and Human Services shall create
2 a pilot program located in a city of the metropolitan class for assessing
3 and treating post traumatic stress disorder. It is the intent of the
4 Legislature to appropriate twenty-five million dollars from the General
5 Fund to carry out this section.
6 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
7 passed and approved according to law.
