1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds from
2 the General Fund to the Department of Economic Development; and to
3 declare an emergency.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $50,000,000 from the
2 General Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $50,000,000 from the General Fund for
3 FY2024-25 to the Department of Economic Development, Agency 72, for
4 Program No. 601, Community and Rural Development, as aid for this
5 program, to contract with the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority, as
6 described in the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority Act, to be used
7 for innovative housing solutions.
8 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
9 passed and approved according to law.
