1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds from
2 the General Fund to the Department of Economic Development; and to
3 declare an emergency.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $30,000,000 from the
2 General Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $30,000,000 from the General Fund for
3 FY2024-25 to the Department of Economic Development, Agency 72, to
4 contract with an iHub partner as defined in section 81-12,108 to be used
5 for commercialization of biotech and agrotech startup businesses located
6 within two miles of an airport located within two miles of a city of the
7 metropolitan class and for satellite locations of such startup
8 businesses.
9 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
10 passed and approved according to law.
