1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to the
2 Department of Environment and Energy.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $1,000,000 from the
2 General Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $1,000,000 from the General Fund for
3 FY2024-25, to the Department of Environment and Energy, for the Low-
4 Income Weatherization Assistance Program, to aid in carrying out energy
5 efficiency audits and weatherization improvements.
6 No expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per diems
7 for state employees shall be made from funds appropriated in this
8 section.
