1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent regarding

4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate
2 $XXX,XXX,XXX from the XXX Fund for fiscal year 2023-24, to Agency No. 25,
3 Department of Health and Human Services, Program No. 348, Medical
4 Assistance, to implement a nine and six-tenths percent increase to
5 reimbursement rates for inpatient and outpatient hospital services
6 provided under a medicaid prospective payment system, and to appropriate
7 $XXX,XXX,XXX from the XXX Fund for fiscal year 2024-25, to Agency No. 25,
8 Department of Health and Human Services, Program No. 348, Medical
9 Assistance, to implement a seven and seven-tenths percent increase to
10 reimbursement rates for inpatient and outpatient hospital services
11 provided under a medicaid prospective payment system.
12 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
13 passed and approved according to law.
