1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate money to the
2 State Department of Education for educational service units.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated $3,000,000 from the General
2 Fund for FY2023-24 and $3,489,969 from the General Fund for FY2024-25 to
3 the State Department of Education, Program 158 for the purpose of
4 increasing aid to educational service units.
5 There is included in the appropriation to this program for FY2023-24
6 $3,000,000 General Funds for state aid, which shall only be used for such
7 purpose. There is included in the appropriation to this program for
8 FY2024-25 $3,489,969 General Funds for state aid, which shall only be
9 used for such purpose.
10 There is included in the amount appropriated for this program
11 $2,251,170 General Funds provided as state aid for FY2023-24 and
12 $2,623,546 General Funds provided as state aid for FY2024-25 for core
13 services for educational services units.
14 There is included in the amount appropriated for this program
15 $748,830 General Funds provided as state aid for FY2023-24 and $866,423
16 General Funds provided as state aid for FY2024-25 for technology
17 infrastructure for educational services units.
