1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to the
2 Department of Health and Human Services for a rate study.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated $250,000 from the General
2 Fund for FY2023-24 to the Department of Health and Human Services for the
3 purpose of retaining a consultant to perform a rate study of provider
4 reimbursement rates for home health care skilled nursing services and
5 private duty nursing services under the Medical Assistance Act. Prior to
6 retaining a consultant, the department shall meet with providers to
7 receive input related to the specific services and rates subject to the
8 rate study.
