1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to the Legislature; to prohibit consideration
2 of certain factors for the purpose of drawing district boundaries as
3 prescribed.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. In drawing boundaries for legislative districts, no
2 consideration shall be given to the political affiliation of registered
3 voters, demographic information other than population figures, or the
4 results of previous elections, except as may be required by federal law
5 and the Constitution of the United States.
