1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent relating to
2 medicaid budgeting.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature that for FY2019-20
2 and each fiscal year thereafter that appropriations for the medicaid aid
3 obligations of the state shall be made in three separate and distinct
4 appropriations programs. The three programs shall be titled as Medicaid
5 Expansion, Medicaid Long-Term Care, and Other Medical Assistance. The
6 Medicaid Long-Term Care budget program shall include a separate
7 subprogram for nursing facilities appropriations and expenditures.
