The bill proposes a legislative management study to explore the feasibility of periodically reconvened sessions of the North Dakota legislative assembly during the 2025-26 interim. The study will consider the assembly reconvening for three consecutive natural days each month, excluding December, specifically on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as for up to seven consecutive natural days each year. Additionally, the study may evaluate alternative proposals for these sessions and review the timing of meetings for organizational and orientation purposes.

At the conclusion of the study, the legislative management is required to report its findings and recommendations to the seventieth legislative assembly, including any necessary legislation to implement these recommendations. This initiative aims to enhance the legislative process by potentially increasing the frequency and flexibility of assembly sessions.
