Additionally, the department is tasked with compiling its own data for use on the website. A new section is created to mandate the establishment of a system for recording and compiling reported vaccine adverse event data, which includes designating specific adverse events that healthcare providers must report, developing reporting forms, and providing a comprehensive report to the legislative management every two years.

The bill also includes provisions for confidentiality regarding the reports, stating that identifying information about individuals cannot be disclosed except to the individual or their legal representatives. Furthermore, it establishes a Vaccine Adverse Event Data System Fund to support the administration of these provisions, with a continuing appropriation for the Department of Health and Human Services. An appropriation of $100,000 is allocated for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, to facilitate the establishment and administration of the reporting system. The Act is set to expire on June 30, 2029.
