Additionally, the bill repeals section 50-06-43.1 of the North Dakota Century Code, which previously related to the children's cabinet. The new provisions include specific duties for the cabinet, such as coordinating leadership across agencies, engaging public and private service providers, and ensuring active participation from consumers and providers. The governor's office will provide administrative support, and members of the cabinet and working groups will be entitled to reimbursement for expenses and per diem compensation as applicable.
