Additionally, the bill repeals existing sections 39-03-13.2 and 54-12-32, which pertain to the state's previous silver and blue alert systems. The new legislation aims to streamline and enhance the alert system by consolidating definitions and procedures under a single framework, ensuring that law enforcement can effectively respond to emergencies involving missing or endangered individuals.
