1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact subsection 6 of section 18-13-03 of the North Dakota
2 Century Code, relating to the use of the reduced cigarette ignition propensity and firefighter
3 protection act enforcement fund.
4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
5 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Subsection 6 of section 18-13-03 of the North Dakota Century
6 Code is amended and reenacted as follows:
7 6. There is established in the state treasury a special fund to be known as the Reduced
8 Cigarette Ignition Propensity and Firefighter Protection Actreduced cigarette ignition
9 propensity and firefighter protection act enforcement fund. The fund must consist of all
10 certification fees submitted by manufacturers, and, in addition to any other moneys
11 made available, be available pursuant to legislative appropriation, to defray the
12 expenses associated with the administration of the state fire marshal solely to support
13 processing, testing, enforcement, and oversight activities under this
14 chapterdepartment.
