1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 61-02-08 of the North Dakota Century Code,
2 relating to the vice chairman of the state water commission.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 61-02-08 of the North Dakota Century Code is
5 amended and reenacted as follows:
6 61-02-08. Meetings of commission.
7 The commission shall hold at least one meeting every two months at places as it, by
8 resolution, may provide. The governor shall serve as chairman, and the commission shall select
9 a member of the commission to serve as vice chairman. The chairman, or in the chairman's
10 absence or disability, the vice chairman of the commission, may issue a call for any meeting at
11 any time. The governor or governor's appointed representative shall preside at all meetings of
12 the commission, and in case of the absence or disability of the governor and governor's
13 appointed representative, the vice chairman shall preside.
