1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact subdivision ee of subsection 1 of section 41-09-02 of
2 the North Dakota Century Code, relating to the definition of deposit account.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Subdivision ee of subsection 1 of section 41-09-02 of the North
5 Dakota Century Code is amended and reenacted as follows:
6 ee. "Deposit account" means a demand, time, savings, passbook, or similar account
7 maintained with a bank. The term does not include investment property, a central
8 bank digital currency, or an account evidenced by a certificate of deposit or an
9 instrument.
