1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact subdivision a of subsection 4 of section 49-23-03 of the
2 North Dakota Century Code, relating to the membership of the board of directors for North
3 Dakota one-call.
4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
5 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Subdivision a of subsection 4 of section 49-23-03 of the North
6 Dakota Century Code is amended and reenacted as follows:
7 a. The board of directors of North Dakota one-call, incorporated must consist of
8 nine members representing the participants in the center. The members of the
9 board of directors must be chosen and serve for terms as provided in the bylaws
10 of the corporation. One member of the board of directors must be chosen by
11 representatives of each of the following participant groups:
12 (1) Telecommunications service providers.
13 (2) Gas distribution lines operators.
14 (3) Oil or gas transmission or gathering lines operators.
15 (4) Electrical transmission and distribution operators.
16 (5) Rural water systems.
17 (6) Cities of five thousand or more population.
18 (7) Cities of fewer than five thousand population.
19 (8) Cable television service providers.
20 (9) Excavators with five or more employees.
21 (10) Excavators with fewer than five employees.
