1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact subsection 1 of section 23-35-02.3 of the North Dakota
2 Century Code, relating to the composition of the onsite wastewater recycling technical
3 committee.
4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
5 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Subsection 1 of section 23-35-02.3 of the North Dakota
6 Century Code is amended and reenacted as follows:
7 1. The onsite wastewater recycling technical committee consists of:
8 a. ThreeFour representatives from local public health units who are licensed
9 environmental health practitioners in this state appointed by the governor from a
10 list of names forwarded by local public health units;
11 b. Four individuals who must be installers appointed by the governor. The governor
12 shall appoint the individuals from a list of names forwarded by a professional
13 onsite wastewater recycling association. For purposes of this section, an
14 "installer" means an individual licensed by a local public health unit to install
15 onsite wastewater sewage treatment systems; and
16 c. One individual who must be a licensed environmental health practitioner
17 appointed by the governor from a list of names forwarded by a professional
18 onsite wastewater recycling associationOne representative from the department
19 of environmental quality appointed by the director of the department of
20 environmental quality.
