1 A BILL for an Act to create and enact a new section to chapter 54-27 of the North Dakota
2 Century Code, relating to the growth of the state budget.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. A new section to chapter 54-27 of the North Dakota Century Code is created
5 and enacted as follows:
6 Appropriation - Limitation.
7 The total percentage increase of all moneys appropriated by the legislative assembly for a
8 biennium from the preceding biennium may not exceed the average annual wage increase of
9 workers in the state during the preceding biennium.
