1 A BILL for an Act to provide an appropriation for a grant for substance use disorder and mental
2 health recovery services.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION - DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE - FEDERAL STATE
5 FISCAL RECOVERY FUND. There is appropriated from federal funds derived from the state
6 fiscal recovery fund, not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $2,000,000, or so much of the sum
7 as may be necessary, to the department of commerce for the purpose of providing a grant to an
8 organization that provides recovery and support services for individuals with a substance use
9 disorder, other mental health disorder, or combination of disorders, for the biennium beginning
10 July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2025.
