1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 57-15-19.2 of the North Dakota Century Code,
2 relating to township special road fund limitations.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 57-15-19.2 of the North Dakota Century Code is
5 amended and reenacted as follows:
6 57-15-19.2. Township supervisors authority to transfer funds into special road fund -
7 Limitations - Use.
8 The board of supervisors, at the time of the annual township meeting, upon resolution, may
9 transfer or set aside a part or all of any funds into a special road fund, which fund must be
10 separate and distinct from all other funds. The special road fund may not exceed the sum of
11 onefive hundred thousand dollars for any one congressional township. The special road fund
12 may be expended, at the option of the board of supervisors, for the purpose of road
13 construction, graveling, snow removal, or surfacing.
