1 A BILL for an Act to provide an appropriation for defraying the expenses of the commissioner of
2 university and school lands; and to provide for distributions from permanent funds.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION. The funds provided in this section, or so much of the funds
5 as may be necessary, are appropriated out of any moneys from special funds derived from the
6 state lands maintenance fund in the state treasury, to the commissioner of university and school
7 lands for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the commissioner of university and school
8 lands, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2025, as follows:

22 SECTION 3. DISTRIBUTIONS TO STATE INSTITUTIONS. Pursuant to article IX of the
