1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 4.1-73-01 of the North Dakota Century Code,
2 relating to freeze branding.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 4.1-73-01 of the North Dakota Century Code is
5 amended and reenacted as follows:
6 4.1-73-01. Definition.
7 For purposes of this chapter, "brand" means an identifying imprint that is:
8 1. Placedplaced on livestock by use of a hot branding iron; or
9 2. Placed on equines by means of either a hot branding iron or a freeze branding
10 technique.
