Part I.
Appoints individuals, upon the recommendation of the Speaker of the House, to the following boards and committees, for the specified terms: Economic Investment Committee; Johnston Community College Board of Trustees; Southwestern Community College Board of Trustees; and Vance-Granville Community College Board of Trustees.
Part II.
Appoints individuals, upon the Speaker Pro Tempore’s recommendation, to the following boards and commissions, for the specified terms: North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission; State Property Tax Commission; NCInnovation; North Carolina Partnership for Children, Inc., Board of Directors; African-American Heritage Commission; Wilson Community College Board of Trustees; Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute Board of Trustees; and Wayne Community College Board of Trustees.
Part III.
Amends SL 2025-29 by changing the names of appointees to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Board of Trustees; the Craven Community College Board of Trustees; and the North Carolina Charter Schools Review Board.
Repeals Section 2.43 (which appointed Lisa Stahlmann Jessar to the Guilford Technical Community College Board of Trustees), Section 2.44(a) (which appointed William B. Carroll, Jr. to the Halifax Community College Board of Trustees), and Section 2.73 (which appointed William H. Wynn to the Vance-Granville Community College Board of Trustees) of SL 2025-29.
Changes the county of origin for appointments made in SL 2025-29 for appointees to the Johnston Community College Board of Trustees; Pitt Community College Board of Trustees; the North Carolina Boxing and Combat Sports Commission; and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency.
