House amendment to the 2nd edition makes the following changes. 
Part VI.
Modifies the definition of defensive device to refer to "less than lethal" devices instead of "non-lethal" devices. 
Part VII.
Removes the changes to GS 143-143.4, which broadens the door lock exemptions under the NC State Building Code so that it included any business entity licensed to sell automatic weapons as a federal firearms dealer that is in the business of selling firearms or ammunition.
