2 AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR VOICES TOGETHER.
3 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
4 SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of
5 Health and Human Services, Division of Child Development and Early Education (Division), the
6 sum of two million eighty-four thousand dollars ($2,084,000) in recurring funds for the
7 2024-2025 fiscal year for Voices Together, a nonprofit corporation. These funds shall be used to
8 address young children's educational and emotional needs through use of a research-based and
9 curriculum-informed music therapy model.
10 SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2024.
