4 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

6 PART I. PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE'S RECOMMENDATIONS
7 SECTION 1.1. Effective January 1, 2024, James Gussler, Jr., of Caswell County is
8 appointed to the North Carolina Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for a term
9 expiring December 31, 2027.
10 SECTION 1.2. Effective January 1, 2024, Dr. Patricia A. Pfeiffer of Wayne County,
11 Patricia A. Markus of Wake County, and Dr. Perrin Jones of Pitt County are appointed to the
12 North Carolina Institute of Medicine Board of Directors for terms expiring December 31, 2027.
13 SECTION 1.3. Effective January 1, 2024, John T. Lucey of New Hanover County
14 is appointed to the North Carolina Oil and Gas Commission for a term expiring December 31,
15 2027.
16 SECTION 1.4. Effective January 1, 2024, Sherry Heuser of Wake County is

31 George T. Ammons of Scotland County are appointed to the North Carolina Well Contractors
32 Certification Commission for terms expiring June 30, 2026.
