2 AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR A BOTANICAL GARDEN AND ASIAN
3 CULTURAL CENTER IN WESTERN WAKE COUNTY.
4 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
5 SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State
6 Budget and Management the sum of five million dollars ($5,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for
7 the 2023-2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to Wake County for a botanical garden and
8 Asian cultural center in the western part of the County.
9 SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
