6 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
7 SECTION 1. Article XII of the Charter of the City of Hendersonville, being Chapter
8 874 of the Session Laws of 1971, as amended by Chapter 438 of the Session Laws of 1991, reads
9 as rewritten:
10 "ARTICLE XII. SIDEWALKS AND PARKING
11 …
12 "Sec. 12.5. Parking Proceeds. Notwithstanding the provisions of G.S. 160A-301(a), the City
13 may use the proceeds from parking meters on public streets in the same manner in which proceeds
14 from off-street parking facilities are permitted under G.S. 160A-301(b)."
15 SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
