1 A JOINT RESOLUTION RELATING CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT J.
2 CONNER TO THE NORTH CAROLINA MINING COMMISSION.
3 Whereas, pursuant to G.S. 143B-291, appointments by the Governor to the North
4 Carolina Mining Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and
5 Whereas, the Governor has nominated Robert J. Conner of Henderson County to
6 serve on the North Carolina Mining Commission, as a commissioner representing the mining
7 industry; Now, therefore,
8 Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
9 SECTION 1. The appointment of Robert J. Conner of Henderson County to serve
10 on the North Carolina Mining Commission for a term expiring on December 31, 2023, is
11 confirmed.
12 SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
