This bill modifies provisions related to the State Board of Mediation, specifically the Governor's appointment of members to fill vacancies.
Currently, if a vacancy occurs on the Board due to death or other reasons, the Governor is required to appoint a replacement with the same qualifications as the departed member. This bill adds a new requirement that such an appointment must be made within 30 days after the vacancy occurs.
