This bill adds a county with more than 19,000 but fewer than 22,000 inhabitants with a county seat with more than 6,000 but fewer than 8,500 inhabitants to an existing sales tax authorization.
If adopted by a vote of the residents of the county, this sales tax applies to all retail sales made within the county, at a rate not to exceed 1%.
Upon enactment, this applies to Vernon County.
