This bill requires the Governor, in consultation with the Missouri Workforce Development Board, to approve workforce training programs that are eligible for Federal Workforce Pell Grants and coordinate such awards with other State and Federal workforce programs to avoid duplicative funding.
The Board must establish an internal procedure to determine approval of eligible workforce training programs.
This bill is similar to HB 2585 and SB 1196 (2026).
