This bill specifies that an airport owned by the City of St. Louis that receives assistance from the Federal government or the Missouri Department of Transportation, or both, may use revenue generated by the airport and airport facilities.
The revenues include any allocations creditable to the General Revenue Fund of the city to be paid out of the gross receipts derived from the operation of the airport and airport facilities.
The revenue can only be expended for the capital or operating costs of the airport, the local airport system, and any other local facility that is owned and operated by the individual or entity that owns or operates the airport and which is directly and substantially related to the air transportation of passengers or property.
This bill is similar to HB 2748 (2024).
