WHEREAS, the General Assembly has a long tradition of granting the use of the 2 House of Representatives Chamber for events conducted by civic organizations; and 3 4 WHEREAS, the Missouri State Eagle Scout Recognition Day will be held on 5 Monday, February 16, 2026, in the Missouri State Capitol to recognize those scouts who 6 achieved the highest rank of any scout, that of eagle scout, in 2025: 7 8 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members of the Missouri 9 House of Representatives, One Hundred Third General Assembly, grant the Great Rivers 10 Council, Boy Scouts of America, and the Great Rivers Eagle Scout Association use of the 11 House Chamber on Monday, February 16, 2026, from noon to 2:00 p.m. to recognize those 12 scouts who achieved the rank of eagle scout in 2025. 13 14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sponsor of this House Resolution, 15 Representative John Voss, or his designee, shall be present in the House Chamber and shall 16 assume responsibility for the group's actions for the duration of the aforementioned event. 17 18 Special note: Participants in the aforementioned event shall conduct themselves in a manner 19 that preserves the dignity and honor of the House of Representatives. Such persons shall 20 behave respectfully and dress appropriately for the occasion. Food items, drinks, and 21 smoking are prohibited on the floor of the House and lower gallery, and participants shall 22 refrain from any conduct that diminishes the decorum of the House Chamber. 23 Access to the dais is limited to the Speaker's podium for purposes of using the 24 microphone to speak to those assembled. Access to the staff area behind the rostrum is 25 prohibited. 26 Group photographs; the hanging of any banners or other items on the walls, curtains, 27 or any surface within the House Chamber; and the use of any equipment, including 28 computers, phones, or other items on the dais and rostrum area, are also prohibited. ✔
