This bill defines "youth organization" and allows for any such organization to provide oral or written information to students in a school district regarding the organization and how such organization furthers educational interests and civic involvement and provides services and activities to participating youth.
The bill provides specificity for time, place and manner requirements and school districts must make a good-faith effort to provide opportunity for youth organizations at least once in each school year.
The bill outlines background check requirements for any representative of a youth organization.
