HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 3875 103RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY INTRODUCED BY REPRESENTATIVE DOLAN.

WHEREAS, the members of the Missouri House of Representatives deem it both 2 proper and necessary to maintain a cooperative relationship between our state's governmental 3 bodies and the legal system; and 4 5 WHEREAS, the General Assembly has a long tradition of granting the use of the 6 House and Senate Chambers for the purpose of official functions: 7 8 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members of the Missouri 9 House of Representatives, One Hundred Third General Assembly, hereby grant the Missouri 10 Bar permission to use the House Chamber for the purpose of swearing in newly-licensed 11 members of the Missouri Bar on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and 12 Friday, October 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. 13 14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sponsor of this House Resolution, 15 Representative David Dolan, or his designee, shall be present in the House Chamber and shall 16 assume responsibility for the group's actions for the duration of the aforementioned event. 17 18 Special note: Participants in the aforementioned event shall conduct themselves in a manner 19 that preserves the dignity and honor of the House of Representatives. Such persons shall 20 behave respectfully and dress appropriately for the occasion. Food items, drinks, and 21 smoking are prohibited on the floor of the House and lower gallery, and participants shall 22 refrain from any conduct that diminishes the decorum of the House Chamber. 23 Access to the dais is limited to the Speaker's podium for purposes of using the 24 microphone to speak to those assembled. Access to the staff area behind the rostrum is 25 prohibited. 26 Group photographs; the hanging of any banners or other items on the walls, curtains, 27 or any surface within the House Chamber; and the use of any equipment, including 28 computers, phones, or other items on the dais and rostrum area, are also prohibited. ✔
