This bill requires the MO HealthNet Division within the Department of Social Services to verify on each application that the applicant is not currently enrolled in another state's Medicaid program or in any qualified health plan offered through a health benefit exchange established under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Any applicant for benefits under MO HealthNet currently enrolled in another state's program or a qualified health plan may terminate such enrollment to become eligible for MO HealthNet benefits.
