This bill requires the Department of Transportation to conduct a study on increasing the speed limit on the interstate to 75 miles per hour. The Department will report its findings to the Governor, the President Pro Tem of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House no later than August 28, 2028. Any concerns or objections raised in the report must be accompanied by a discussion of potential ways to mitigate those concerns or objections.
