This bill lists the medical titles or specialty designations that are only to be used by physicians licensed under Chapter 334, RSMo.
The bill additionally provides that any patient who receives health care services from a non-physician health care provider who uses a medical title or specialty designation reserved for physicians in violation of the provisions of this bill shall have a private cause of action against the non-physician health care provider.
This bill is similar to HB 1130 (2025).
