Upon voter approval, beginning January 1, 2027, this constitutional amendment allows all real property used as a homestead, as defined by law, and all personal property, of any resident who is a veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States or the Missouri National Guard and who has a service- connected disability rating to be partially or totally exempt from taxation, proportional to the veteran's disability rating.
This bill is similar to HJR 64 (2025) and HJR 95 (2024).
